- The family of the black pianist depicted in the Oscar winning Green Book has described the celebration of the movie as 'a shame' and say director Peter Farrelly 'took a jab' at the family in his acceptance speech
- The last surviving brother of Dr Donald Shirley, the black pianist featured in the Oscar-nominated Green Book, has previously slammed the film as a 'shameful travesty'
- The movie was billed as a touching tale of the unlikely friendship between Shirley and racist Italian American Tony 'Lip' Vallelonga who was briefly his driver
- But Shirley's brother, Maurice told DailyMailTV last month how the film is 'a symphony of lies' and diminishes Shirley, casting him as supporting actor in the story of his life
- Maurice says Shirley and Vallelonga were never friends and he was fired for behaviors shown in the movie, such as his refusal to carry Shirley's luggage
